Who are some of your biggest influences?

“Growing up me & all my bros listened to Chief Keef & NBA Youngboy. That’s definitely 2 of the biggest influences in my music life.”

 

What is it like growing up in the Washington music scene?

Growing up in the Washington music scene is interesting, there is a lot of Unknown talent but at the same time it’s a lot of opportunities but a lot of people are limited so I plan to use my platform to hopefully get others noticed I’m not selfish…”

 

What are your interests outside of music?

“Outside of music my Biggest interest is sports. (basketball to be exact) guess you can say imma gamer (Not really) lol I’ll play 2K a lot from time to time... Other than that I’m coolin takin care of the fam.”

 

How would you describe your music to someone who has never listened to you?

“I Would self describe my music as real, versatile & authentic. Also, it’s storytelling. There’s a story behind every Song I write & rap... GOTTA LISTEN CLOSE.”

 

What does music mean to you?

“Music to me is an expression! I feel it’s Ah way to express yourself and tell your story of what you’re going through in life. From me personally, you can get a lot about me from my music that I probably wouldn’t say in person to you. It’s a therapeutic thing for me..”

 

What can fans expect from you within the next 3 months?

“Within the next 3 months, I’ll have my EP Out on all platforms titled “BandUp Business. I’ll have multiple videos Dropping within the next 3 months I’m one the hardest workers you going to find in the PNW. Plan on dropping another EP after the new year also.”

 

What song would you recommend to someone who has never listened to you and why?

“Easy I would recommend “Progress” because I put my all into that song & that really came from the heart. & I feel if you ever had pain or loved ones you lost in your life or even kids there’s no way you can’t listen to that song & relate & that’s what I try & do with my music more than anything is relate to other people while also telling my real life story.”

 

Where do you find inspiration?

I find the most inspiration from my mom & my big brother. I’ve seen my mom overcome the most in her life with the least on the table. She made me believe you can do anything as long as you put your mind & your focus in it. My big brother too! FREE TBU MILLA!

Do you prefer to record during the day or night and why?

“No preference. I can record during the day & the night. I do most of my recording at night though no reasoning.”

If you could get a feature from anyone right now who would it be and why?

NBA Youngboy, of course, lmao that’s my favorite rapper but on some real reality talk, I would have to say Daboii! Been fw SOB since I was 16 went to their show when they came out to Tacoma & everything so it would just be fitting... TBU Quanny Feat. Daboii Comin soon hopefully lol.”

Last question, do you have any advice for people wanting to step into the music industry?

“My advice would just be you & no one else people will f*ck wit you more for being you. Just keep being consistent & not letting up be patient your time coming.”
