Who are some of your biggest influences?
“Damn, I feel like some of my biggest influences are all over the place just cause I’m a fan of rap in general but if I was to make a top 5 most influential it would be Biggie, Mac Miller, Joey badass, Drakeo, 03 Greedo.”
What is it like growing up in the Washington music scene?
“Honestly, it’s great I mean you got the haters/sneak disses but what music scene ain’t finna have em sh*t most of em are from what I would consider to be my hometown, like don’t get me wrong there are the ni*gas that do f*ck with me and shouts out to them but sometimes I do feel blackballed by the very place that I come from just cause ni*gas don’t wanna get outshined and once I started f*ckin with the music scene outside my hometown I’ve gotten nothing but love.”
What are your interests outside of music?
“Chillin with my girl and the homies, playin some games with the bois and makin money
How would you describe your music to someone who has never listened to you?
“I be doin some different sh*t sometimes but for the most part, I would say it’s trap music.”
What does music mean to you?
“Man I love music, music will always be my passion for sure. I’ve dead ass wanted this sh*t since I was a kid bruh and as I’ve grown up I’ve just been more and more dead set on making this a career, setting goals for myself to make sure I’m always progressing and with learning the business side of it I feel like it’s just evolved and matured into something great. My life definitely revolves around music.”
What can fans expect from you within the next 3 months?
“Thinking about droppin a lil ep, if not then we droppin singles for the rest of the year also got hella shows comin up so stay tuned.”
What song of yours would recommend to someone who has never listened to you and why?
“Road runnin’ (feat. Treflii) cause that sh*t a bop and I feel like that’s my best song out atm plus I got one of the hottest ni*gas comin out the city rn on it, treflii goin crazy.”
Where do you find inspiration?
“Seein the homies progress inspires me to progress and do more, I feel like it's all about who you surround yourself with.”
Do you prefer to record during the day or night and why?
“I would probably say at night but it really don’t matter either way I’m finna f*ck up a studio session.”
If you could get a feature from anyone, who would it be and why?
“03 Greedo for sure, there is a long list but I feel like it would just go crazy and he would be the artist I sound the best with.”
Last question, do you have any advice for people wanting to step into the music industry?
“If you are gonna do it then do it and put in 100% and get a solid team behind you, network to find said team. Don’t be afraid to learn from what works and what doesn’t. It’s all about trial and error, it’s all about progression, find new ways to progress, stay in your lane, sh*t on these ni*gas that hate, and most important be yourself & have fun.”
