Who are some of your biggest influences?
“My biggest influences are no kind of island and nirvana.”
What is it like growing up in the Washington music scene?
“Tbh I’ve been seeing more and more artists come together. When I first started it seemed like people were more exclusive with who they worked with, but now more and more artists are giving each other the love/recognition they deserve.”
What are your interests outside of music?
“I love being in nature, something about it resets my mind and makes me feel more connected.”
How would you describe your music to someone who has never listened to you?
“I’d say most of my music definitely has a dark/emotional then to it. But with that being said, my music can touch many people at the same time. I incorporate many different styles/genres in my music giving everyone a song to listen to.”
What does music mean to you?
“Music is everything. It saved my life which is something many people can say, and I want to keep that going. There are so many people you can touch that you’d never meet otherwise, Which is beautiful.”
What can fans expect from you within the next 3 months?
“I’m dropping my debut mixtape on October 18th titled “NEVER MIND ME” it is the project I have wanted to make since I began my career back in 2016. It will showcase my versatility as well as give a glimpse into my mind/life.”
Where do you find inspiration?
“I find inspiration all around me. I’ve always been pretty observant, and with that, I see a lot which gives me a lot to talk about.”
Do you prefer to record during the day or night and why?
“I have no preference, I record at all times of the day.”

“Jhene aiko, we’d make a diamond record fasho”
Last question, do you have any advice for people wanting to step into the music industry?
“Yes, don’t give a damn what anybody thinks, and take the time you need to put out what YOU like. You are the creator and your voice matters. The crowd will come to you.”
